With more than 35 years of experience in the treatment of infertility, Clínica Dale has a parallel trajectory to advances in the area of human reproduction.
The director Luiz Fernando Dale returned in 1980 from a specialization in France and brought to Rio de Janeiro a specialty that until then was unknown. The clinic was one of the first in Brazil to treat couples and realize the dream of a pregnancy.
With the help of the renowned French specialist, Professor Jean Cohen, the plan of a functional clinical structure was devised. This was installed in the Tower of the South River and today has the most modern facilities.
The privileged location and the 600 m2 area enabled the Reproduction Medicine Center, the first specialized in in vitro fertilization in Brazil, located in a non-hospital unit. This fact made the Dale Clinic and the Center for Reproductive Medicine, pioneering institutions and much ahead of its time.
In March 2000 the clinic was evaluated by the Red Latino Americana de Reproduccion Assistida (RED) and received the certificate of excellence. She was one of the first to be certified in the country and the first in Rio de Janeiro. Since then, it has been maintaining certification, provided after rigorous inspection by RED technicians. This certification is given annually, and all results are published in the annual RED reports.
