International experience of ISIDA specialists - spring 2018
The best reproductive specialists, genetics and biologists of ISIDA clinic regularly upgrade their qualification by attending various conferences, congresses, symposiums and workshops in different parts of the world. This gives them unique opportunity to get up-to-date information about new products in the ART field, and also to share their own experience and achievements with foreign colleagues.
This spring turned out to be especially busy with interesting and informative international events for ISIDA clinic specialists. On April 19-21, Deputy Chief Doctor of Infertility Treatment Center, Head of the Recurrent pregnancy loss Treatment Center, fertility specialist, geneticist, obstetrician-gynecologist Ksenia Khazhilenko visited the global meeting of reproductive specialists, which took place as a part of Fertility Academy event in Lisbon:
«An outstanding feature of the seminar consists of an opportunity not only to listen to the reports, but also to ask the speakers during long discussions all the interesting questions, since there always a lot of them. And thanks to 25-years of experience in treating patients with fertility disorders and high success of ART programs in ISIDA clinic, it is possible to talk the same language, literally and figuratively, with colleagues from the best reproductive clinics of the world on events like this», - emphasized Ksenia Khazhilenko.
Also in April, Yevgeniya Ulayeva, Head of Embryologic laboratory, physician-laboratory geneticist, endocrinologist, visited the «Embryotools» training center in Barcelona, where she participated in a workshop on «Organization and quality control in the embryology laboratory». During her visit, Eugenia was able to analyze and give a comparative description on the standards of embryo culture in ISIDA clinic in comparison to European standards:
«It was a pleasure to find out that many aspects of embryo culture implemented and successfully operating at ISIDA clinic were named as fundamental in the work of embryological laboratories by the lecturers. This means that ISIDA clinic has every opportunity to provide its patients with services on the level that corresponds to the European quality standards», - comments her visit to the training center Yevgeniya Ulayeva.
In May, ISIDA clinic biologist Natalia Korotkevych took part in international conference Alpha in Iceland. During this event, the participants got acquainted with the latest innovations in the field of ART in relation to the molecular biological aspects of embryo development, the mechanisms of aneuploidy emergence in oocytes, the tactics of preimplantation genetic diagnosis in ART cycles:
«Participation in international conferences allows us to get acquainted with the most significant innovations in the field of embryology, gives an opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge with colleagues from other clinics and countries. And also to gain practical skills through participation in workshops and master classes led by invited specialists from leading European clinics in the field of assisted reproductive technologies», - noted Natalia Korotkevych.
