IVF with donor eggs in Delta Fertility

Treatment using donor eggs is an effective way to achieve a pregnancy and a birth of a healthy child in cases where the quality of own oocytes or other reproductive problems do not lead to success. Multiple unsuccessful IVF attempts, the absence of eggs after ovarian surgeries, premature menopause, reduced ovarian reserve, the presence of genetic diseases - all these issues are indications for donation programs.

IVF can be done with either vitrified (frozen) or fresh eggs. They are fertilised with the partner's sperm and cultivated in a special incubator for 5-6 days until the blastocyst stage. Then embryologists choose the best embryo for transfer, and carefully freeze the remaining ones.

After 10-14 days, the patient takes a blood test for hCG to find out the result. A pregnancy after such a program is no different from a pregnancy after IVF with own oocytes.
