5 Reasons Why to Become a Surrogate

5 Reasons Why to Become a Surrogate

Surrogate Moms are powerful and influential and gorgeous and strong as they are doing the most unique thing in the world — growing the tiny Miracles inside of them and gifting those Miracles to their moms and dads. If you are interested in Giving the Gift of Parenthood as a Surrogate Mom, you may be wondering what the process is. But if you feel that you want to be a Surrogate Mom and are still not sure why you would like to help a perfect stranger or strangers on having a tiny screaming bundle of joy, and looking for some inspiring and motivating words to make the first step into Surrogacy, here are five answers on ‘Why Being a Surrogate Mom?’ question.

Why no 1: You Are Inspired by Gifting a New Life

Inspired by doing something more than a Miracle for a perfect stranger? Thought of gifting the tiny screaming Bundle to this world makes your eyes sparkle? Love being pregnant and want to help those who couldn’t get pregnant on their own? Then, being a Surrogate Mom is an ideal option for you.

Being a Surrogate Mom means being dedicated to making something amazing for a perfect stranger or the couple. It means doting on every step of pregnancy and the tiny Miracle growing inside you, understanding that this new bundle is not yours. It means that you are a loving, caring, and strong person as after hearing the first heartbeat till the moment of holding the baby in your hands and cuddling up this tiny Miracle to your décolleté you will be the one with this baby, and even there will be a strong bond between you both. But after introducing the new baby to the world and saying a Blurring Hello, you will have to say a Warm Buy to this New bundle and give it to her mom or dad.

Why no 2: You Will Help Those Who Lost Their Hope by Making Impossible — Possible

Infertility may have been a huge part of someone’s story, but it never defines the person. The unedited truth about infertility is that it steals dreams. Breaks hearts. And brings grief. Infertility stories are different, but their concept is the same. Infertility is the reason someone couldn’t get pregnant on her own. They do know that their reproductive systems don’t do their jobs. They do know how frustrating it is to hear every time that nothing worked and they could try one more time. They do feel frustrated every time a new failure happens. And Surrogacy is a back–up that can make their dream come true.

Infertility brought so many things with it when it entered their lives. It wasn’t just that they couldn’t get pregnant. It wasn’t just that they couldn’t stop worrying that it was their fault. It wasn’t just that they couldn’t stop blaming themselves. It brought them more tears than they ever thought they could shed. Because of infertility, they laid on their bedroom floor in complete emptiness after countless negative pregnancy tests week after week, month after month, year after year. Time and time again they had to endure countless shots that hurt like you wouldn’t believe every single night, countless blood draws, countless bruises, countless doctor visits, and all kinds of meds because when you are infertile, you are seeking fertility treatment for help and that is what you are in for.

Being a Surrogate Mom means being a glimpse of hope for those who are exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally; they lost their hope but still they have a tiny faith that something could be edited in their stories.

Why no 3: You Can Choose Who You Want to Help

The couples almost always select their Surrogate Moms during the matching process. Matching is a meeting arranged between the Surrogate Mom and intended parent(s). Being matched for the first time may be emotional and overwhelming both for you and the intended parent(s) but here is one thing you should know: you also can choose a single or a couple you want to help to. And here is why.

Being a Surrogate Mom is being highly selective in who you give your heart to and you may break a lot of hearts for that reason. Being a Surrogate Mom is being able to see things others don’t. Being a Surrogate Mom is remembering everything about the single or couple even the little details they thought they mentioned in a whisper. Being a Surrogate Mom means understanding what intended parents don’t say because so much of them is shown through actions and not words. Being a Surrogate Mom is being able to read the intended parents when they are uncomfortable but they won’t say that.

Surrogacy is more than a beautiful experience. It is a unique bond between you and the intended mother or intended father or the couple. And it is a bond is a life–long.

Why no 4: Introducing the New Baby to the World

Holding that small, warm, and screaming bundle for the first time and staring into those tiny gorgeous eyes will change their life forever. And not only someone’s but also yours. You introduced the new baby to the world. Congratulations. Without you, it was impossible to have so perfect 2 tiny feet, so perfect 2 tiny hands, 10 perfect little fingers, 10 perfect little toes, beautiful dark blue eyes, and golden blond curls... Now, it is possible to hold this tiny beautiful creature in your hands, and to feel the love.

This love that you get to experience with Surrogacy is absolutely undeniable. It is the greatest feeling in the world and if you weren’t part of their story, they wouldn’t be Mom and/or Dad.

Why no 5: Financial Compensation

If you are completing a commercial Surrogacy Program, you will receive base compensation for Surrogacy Services. The amount of this base compensation will depend on several factors: the policies of the Surrogacy Agency you are working with, your own experience with Surrogacy (first–time Surrogate Moms may get up to $45,000.00 — $55,000.00 in the USA, and the USA–based second–time Surrogate Mom may get up to $60,000.00 — $75,000.00), and Surrogate Pregnancy (Multiples fee for twin pregnancy may be up to $10,000.00, and Multiples fee for triplet pregnancy may be up to $20,000.00; plus, mostly, the multiples are born through Cesarean section, and you will get the compensation for Cesarean section up to $3,000.00).

As a Surrogate Mom, all of your expenses will be covered by the intended parents — everything from your screening costs to your medication and pregnancy care to your legal expenses. Plus, you’ll likely receive a monthly payment that covers your pregnancy–related costs (maternity clothing, meals, prenatal vitamins and other health supplies, self–pampering, insurance, and sometimes traveling expenses).

If you are inspired by an opportunity to help make someone’s family complete, compassioned about introducing the new life to this world and gifting the newborn to those who do want to be parents, and enjoy pregnancy, the chances that you will be a perfect Surrogate Mom is high. With these positive qualities and an open mind, everything else will likely be possible.
