Since its foundation until today, the Institute has registered more than 1000 babies born, through assisted reproduction procedures, such as insemination and in vitro fertilization.

With the mission of providing comprehensive assistance to infertile couples, the Verhum Institute has an experienced team and invests in advanced techniques and state-of-the-art equipment in the assisted reproduction area, without neglecting the focus on humanized and welcoming care.

Not all couples struggling to conceive need the more complex Assisted Reproduction treatments. The Institute's team is prepared to diagnose the cause of infertility and monitor the infertile couple, from the simplest treatments to the most sophisticated techniques.

In addition to infertility treatments, Verhum also offers a gynecological videoendoscopy service, which allows for the accurate diagnosis of other pathologies, such as endometriosis, polyps and other intrauterine diseases. Gynecological videoendoscopy procedures are also indicated for the treatment and removal of benign lesions in the uterus.

Social responsibility is also part of the philosophy of Instituto Verhum, which has maintained, since 2006, the “Being a Mother within the Reach of Every Woman” project, serving more than 300 low-income couples per year. The project aims to help infertile couples through initial care, offering some tests and general guidelines to try to increase the chances of a natural pregnancy.
