The Assisted Reproduction Department of Lozenets University Hospital specializes in assisted reproduction activities, including but not limited to: IVF and ICSI fertilization, freezing of sperm, eggs and embryos, semen examination, assisted laser hacking and more.

The department is equipped with the latest technology: the latest generation of Nikon ICSI microscope with Integra micromanipulator, bench top incubators, Octax laser system for assisted hatching.

In order to achieve maximum success, the department works with consumables (culture media, catheters for embryo transfer, etc.) only from the world's leading manufacturers Vitrolife, Origio, Cook, Wallace and others.

The department has a team of proven, highly qualified specialists (embryologists and obstetricians-gynecologists) with many years of experience in the country and abroad, characterized by high success in the procedures performed. The department works under the leadership of Professor Heinz Stromer - one of the most prominent scientists in the field of assisted reproduction, under whose leadership other leading European In Vitro Centers work (eg Kinderwunschzentum Goldenes Kreuz, Vienna, Austria).
