In January 1992, the IRIFIV center was born from the initiative of a group of gynecologists, andrologists and reproductive biologists, who were anxious to help couples suffering from hypofertility, often in a difficult socio-economic and family context, have combined their efforts and enabled the creation of the said center.

As the new information technologies were not developed at the time, couples had little information on the possibilities of treatment during the various stages of preparation, stimulation, cultures and embryonic replacements, especially as the suffering of couples. was rarely shared with their respective relatives and families.

With the years the popularization of this medical discipline having taken over coupled with considerable technological advances, the care of well-informed couples has become less difficult and sometimes they themselves become applicants for additional examinations than the clinical-biological team. felt unnecessary.

Currently, the IRIFIV center is able to provide services ranging from endoscopic explorations of female infertility, andrological assessments, to specific treatments depending on the factors involved.

Referral to a given treatment will be decided by the attending physician in consultation with the entire team of the center.

The services currently available at the center:

• Intrauterine insemination (IAC)
• Classical in vitro fertilization (IVF)
• Conventional micro-injection (ICSI)
• Selective micro-injection (IMSI)
• Preservation of sperm ova and embryos from in vitro fertilization
