About Novafem – clínica de fertilidad y genética

At Novafem, fertility and genetics clinic, we have the techniques and alliances providing counseling in the fertility area to male and female patients who wish to preserve their fertile capacity in all areas, althoug we are able to probide a complete service of surogacy if it is needed.

Preservation of fertility

Fertility can be preserved by freezing both eggs and sperm. It is recommended for people who have to receive medical treatment that puts their fertility at risk in the short term. It is also an option for women who want to postpone their motherhood after the age of 35.

Diagnostics

Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) is a study technique that allows a detailed analysis of the embryo before being transferred to the mother's uterus. In this way it is possible to transfer the embryos free of any hereditary disease. It is indicated as long as the patient has an optimal response to ovarian stimulation and the genetic disease under study is within the legal limits on assisted human reproduction techniques.
