Vitanova
Vitanova is the only fertility clinic in Denmark owned and run by midwives. Through their professional training, midwives are given a focus on pregnancy and birth that we think is important in the treatment of those who want to start a family.
Although our work at the fertility clinic only directly involves the process of fertilisation, our focus is on the child and the future for both child and parent(s). On the basis of interviews, we make an assessment as to which treatment will be the best: insemination or IVF. We also use the interviews to assess whether the woman or couple is ready to take on the role of parent(s).
At Vitanova, you will meet the same people no matter which fertility treatment is right for you. The same doctors, midwives and nurses will be with you all the way. This gives peace of mind during the treatment – something we value highly.
At Vitanova, we meet all kinds of people who don’t want to be childless – both single women and heterosexual or lesbian couples. All are welcome, and we are happy to help and advise them throughout the process of creating a family. We try to give our clients all-round assistance built on mutual trust and respect. And we want those who come to us to feel our commitment and help throughout the process.
We are certified by the Danish Health and Medicines Authority, and the clinic is operated and run in conformity with the relevant legislation. We play an active role in public discussion and help shape legislation in this area through our membership of the Danish Fertility Society. We also try to keep up with relevant legislation in other countries, so that we can advise our clients from abroad.

Don't waste your health, money, and energies there
My experience with Vitanova was absolutely negative. Despite an amazing first contact which made me fall in love with the clinic's relaxed and familiar atmosphere, I found out that disorganization is their queen and incompetence their king. Each of my e-mails was answered by a different person and nobody seemed to worry about checking my file before suggesting the first thing that came to their mind, so I often got different advices/answers on the same topic. They totally ignore the patient's worries and updates about their cycle and physical status, so timing is never properly set. Moreover, when I finally moved to a different clinic, I discovered that the blood tests I gave them were showing different results which were incompatible with conception (luckily, they were treatable things). Obviously, nobody at Vitanova ever told me anything about it.
If you value your health and peace of mind, find a different clinic.

terrible experience, please avoid it
I am so disappointed by Vitanova. It is one of the worst experience of my life.
They don't treat you properly. It seems to be a very cosy clinic with careful people but in reality you are considered as a cash machine and the clinic is full of incompetent people. They are also totally disorganized which makes you feel very uncomfortable... Very expensive for poor results. Find another option, this is my advice.
