Breastfeeding Class: Waco

DESCRIPTION:

We offer breastfeeding classes on several Wednesday’s of each month from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest. This one–session introduction to breastfeeding focuses on techniques for initiating nursing during the early weeks with your newborn and maintaining a successful breastfeeding experience. All classes are taught by certified lactation consultants. Classes are intended for females only. The class costs $10.00. Participants who register for the childbirth class may attend the breastfeeding class at no charge. Because space is limited, participants are encouraged to sign up for classes three to four months prior to due date.
