Childbirth Class (Saturdays): Waco

DESCRIPTION:

Our two–week childbirth classes are available on various Saturdays at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hillcrest. Topics include information on ways your body changes with pregnancy, understanding labor and birth, pain management options, information for your labor support team, caring for yourself postpartum, newborn care, car seat basics, and an introduction to infant CPR. The class costs $50 for those delivering at Hillcrest and $65 for those delivering elsewhere. Participants who register for the childbirth class may attend the breastfeeding class at no charge. Because space is limited, participants are encouraged to sign up for classes three to four months prior to due date.
