DESCRIPTION:

The “Fast Track” Saturday class is a one day accelerated version of the 6 week prepared childbirth. The class covers the labor and birthing process, labor and birth options, breathing patterns and relaxation, postpartum, and tour of the maternity center in an eight hour session. No children please. Class brochure is now available online at www.emoryhealthcare.org/maternity-center. In lower right under “How to register”. It is recommended to finish the class about 2 weeks before due date. Wear comfortable clothing and bring 1 pillow. Cost – $100 Emory University Hospital Midtown 550 Peachtree St Atlanta, GA 30308 Take the hospital elevators to the 3rd floor Maternity Center. Medicaid, as well as some other insurances pay for some classes. You must check with your insurance company to be sure. If using insurance, write name of insurance company on registration form and bring insurance card to first class. Medicaid participants MUST bring their Medicaid card, Photo ID and will fill out a current registration form.
