DESCRIPTION:

This 2 part series of classes is designed to provide you and your support person with the information and skills you need to approach the birth process with confidence and skill. Discussions include birthing options, current obstetrical practices and pain management strategies, as well as many breathing and relaxation techniques. A tour of our facilities is included. No children, please. Class brochure is now available online at www.emoryhealthcare.org/maternity-center. In lower right under “How to register”. It is recommended to finish the class about 2 weeks before due date. Wear comfortable clothing and bring 1 pillow at your second class session. Cost – $100. Emory University Hospital Midtown 550 Peachtree St Atlanta, GA 30308. Take the hospital elevators to the 3rd floor Maternity Center.
