Childbirth Preparation Weekday Class – EJCH
DESCRIPTION:
Prepayment is not required but preferred. To make payment: call 404-416-6521 or arrive 20 minutes early on the day of your class to make payment in the Emergency Department at the registration desk. No online payment option available. Patients with Medicaid can submit their receipt to Medicaid for reimbursement. Please bring a pen. Topics include: discomforts of late pregnancy; anatomy and physiology; stages of labor; pain management – breathing and relaxation; how to prepare for labor; medications; possible complications; cesarean sections; postpartum and newborn care; infant feeding, basic breastfeeding. Enroll pregnant woman only; support person does not need to register. Hospital tour not included.
