About Us

The Midwest Reproductive Symposium International (MRSi) was designed in 2005 to promote the timely discussion of topics relevant to reproductive medicine. This two-day conference has the primary objective to provide high quality, appropriate, continuing medical education for professionals within the reproductive medical field.

The MRSi conference is comprised of workshops, lectured sessions, and panel discussions mixed with interactive activities and events that offer attendees a unique opportunity to network with colleagues and exhibitors in an all-inclusive setting. Attendees will share their knowledge and experiences in several rapidly advancing fields within reproductive medicine.

Participants are also given the opportunity to attend specialized programming in the following areas:

MRSI Nurse Practicum: As one of the only nursing education opportunities offered in the United States today, the Nurse Practicum is a program specifically designed for nurses by nurses that is an integral part of the MRSi conference presented as an optional day on Thursday, June 15, 2017.

Business Minds Program: The Business Minds program session is an educational platform created for reproductive medical professionals to gather and discuss innovative trends and thought-provoking concepts within business world of reproductive medicine.

REI Fellows Program is a unique opportunity offered to fellows, within the reproductive medical field. It also invites them to share their research to medical professionals. Each year fellows are selected to attend MRSi and display a poster presentation of their work at the scientific session.

Mental Health Day –– NEW for 2017! is a captivating forum that brings together experts of the mental health profession and reproductive medicine colleagues for an open discussion on how to counsel patients who face difficult decisions. This is a unique opportunity to share challenges and explore strategies. New for 2017, the Mental Health Day is now Thursday, June 15, 2017.

MRSi is attended by physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and basic scientists, from around the world, who are highly engaged in the practice of and research in reproductive medicine. In 2005, the meeting was attended by 170 health care professionals. Since then, the MRSi program has seen an increase in attendance. In 2016, the event was host to over 430 participants.

MRSi: The Midwest Reproductive Symposium international (MRSi), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is an educational event that began in 2005 to promote the timely discussion of issues relevant to reproductive medicine. The primary objective is the provision of high quality, appropriate, continuing medical education for physicians, nurses, allied health professionals and basic scientists engaged in the practice of and research in reproductive medicine. The 3–day MRSi program consists of a mix of lectures, panel discussions and interactive workshops. Learning Objectives

After attending the 2017 MRSi meeting, the participant should be able to:

Discuss several new concepts, techniques, and treatment modalities relevant to the practice of reproductive medicine.

Identify current clinical challenges to the effective and timely delivery of reproductive medicine and in vitro fertilization.

Evaluate methods to individualize treatment that incorporate learning objectives 1 and 2.

Identify patient concerns and describe appropriate methods to address those concerns.

Utilize new evidence-based studies pertaining to reproductive medicine to improve clinical outcomes.
