Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital
Transitioning into Parenthood – Lake Forest
DESCRIPTION:
Most of us enter pregnancy and parenthood with little preparation for what lies ahead. The transition into a new role can be overwhelming. Topics of discussion may include economic concerns, social support systems, hormonal changes, difference between “baby blues” and postpartum depression and how to find the support and resources you may need. This 2–hour class is for anyone (women, spouses, partners, support persons) and may be taken pre– or post–delivery. Price is per couple. If you are unable to attend your class, please call at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or to receive a class refund. This will allow your seat to be made available to another participant. Bring your confirmation email with you; you may be asked to present it at check–in. Please arrive 10 minutes before posted start time. Park and ENTER THE LAKE FOREST HOSPITAL MAIN ENTRANCE, IMMEDIATELY to the LEFT OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM. Take the elevator or stairs up one flight to the first–floor Health Education
