Understanding Birth 2–Day Class – Grayslake

DESCRIPTION:

This is designed for first–time parents and those desiring an expanded review of childbirth preparation. Course content includes: Lecture & discussion of the labor & delivery process; including stages of labor & strategies for managing early labor, Support person’s role, Epidural anesthesia & other methods of pain management, Routine postpartum care, Policies and procedures specific to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. Please note – no tour is included. Please sign up for a tour separately. Price is per couple. If you are unable to attend your class, please call at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or to receive a class refund. Expectant parents delivering at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital are required to have a Pediatrician for their newborn(s) prior to delivery. Please call Physician Referral at 3129268400 & one of our Health Consultants will assist you with referrals to Pediatricians & Family Practice doctors. Park in Pavilion A & ENTER THROUGH THE MAIN ENTRANCE.
