Understanding Birth 1 Day Class – Lake Forest

DESCRIPTION:

This innovative, interactive class will enhance your knowledge on all aspects of delivering your baby at Lake Forest. Taught by a childbirth educator, this class covers: the role of the support person, stages of labor, strategies for managing early labor and working with your team of caregivers. Anesthesia, delivery options and routine postpartum care will also be addressed. A guided hospital tour is also included. Each couple will receive a copy of Understanding Birth. Class is offered as a 2-part weekday series or as a 1 day class. Price is per couple. If you are unable to attend your class, please call at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or to receive a class refund. Bring your confirmation email with you; you may be asked to present it at check–in. Park and ENTER THE LAKE FOREST HOSPITAL MAIN ENTRANCE, to the LEFT OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM. Take the elevator or stairs up one flight to the first-floor Health Education Center classroom.
