DESCRIPTION:
This innovative, interactive class will enhance your knowledge on all aspects of delivering your baby at Prentice. Taught by a certified childbirth educator, this class covers the role of the support person; stages of labor; strategies for managing early labor and working with your team of caregivers; anesthesia and delivery options; and routine postpartum care. A guided hospital tour is also included. Each couple will receive a copy of Understanding Birth. This book provides online access to videos, printable charts, checklists and information sheets. This class is offered as a 2–part weekday series or as a 1 day class on Saturday or Sunday.
