Understanding Your Newborn – Lake Forest

DESCRIPTION:

Learn the essentials of parenting and newborn care from birth to 6 weeks. This class includes the basics of diapering, bathing, infant behavior, sleep patterns, recognizing illness, and comforting techniques. It's intended for expectant parents who have had very little experience caring for newborn babies. Participants will receive the book, The Joy of Parenthood. Price is per couple. If you are unable to attend your class, please call at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or to receive a class refund. This will allow your seat to be made available to another participant. Bring your confirmation email with you; you may be asked to present it at check-in. Please arrive 10 minutes before posted start time. Park and ENTER THE LAKE FOREST HOSPITAL MAIN ENTRANCE, IMMEDIATELY to the LEFT OF THE EMERGENCY ROOM. Take the elevator or stairs up one flight to the first-floor Health Education Center classroom.
