AGeorgian-American Reproductive Clinic Reproart was opened in July 2012. Its main activity is the treatment and research of all types of infertility . One of the leading directions is in vitro fertilization (so-called artificial insemination) treatment. Clinic services integrate all aspects related to women and men’s reproductive health. The founder and director of ReproART is embryologist Lika Chkonia, who has 30 years of experience working in this field in Georgia and 8 years of experience working in in vitro fertilization clinics in the United States. The Scientific Supervisor of the Clinical Unit of Reproart is David McCalla (Ph.D./HCLD/CC), Chairman of the Scientific Committee of the Fertility Center at New York University. Dr. McCalla has been working in the field of In Vitro Fertilization since 1983 and is the author of numerous scientific papers, books and monographs.

After 2012, Reproart expanded and opened a reproductive clinic first in Kutaisi and then in Batumi. Kutaisi branch has been operating since February 1, 2013 and offers all services in Tbilisi to patients living in western Georgia to save time and financial resources. On September 15, 2014, the Georgian-American Reproductive Clinic Reproart-Batumi was opened in Batumi. Reproart-Batumi uses the technologies that are introduced in Tbilisi or in the world's leading reproduction centers. 30 years of experience in reproductive medicine, advances in infertility treatment and the best results obtained using Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) make ReproART a leader in the region.
