According to the latest information from the Robert Koch Institute, there is currently no evidence that Covid-19 can be transmitted to the child in the womb or through breast milk. However, the data situation is currently not sufficient to conclusively answer these and other questions about Covid-19 in pregnancy, which is why the European Society for Reproductive Medicine and Embryologists (ESHRE) currently recommends not to carry out fertility therapies.
With the relaxation of the Covid-19 measures, however, we will give a limited number of couples who expressly wish this the opportunity to start / continue fertility therapy from April 21 , 2020. We also continue to offer meetings and initial meetings. As a precaution, we have divided our practice into teams. Due to the reduced number of employees, we may not be able to start all therapies at the same time as usual and there are longer waiting times before the start of therapy. In principle, as few patients as possible should be in the practice at the same time in order to observe the current hygiene and distance regulations and to achieve the greatest possible protection against coronavirus infection for everyone.
