Our Unit opened its doors in 1992 in Chania, with the ultimate aim to offer high quality medical services in the field of assisted reproduction.

Under the direction of Dr Ioannis Giakoumakis, the highly trained medical and scientific staff of the Mediterranean Fertility Institute – with a great sense of responsibility - is continually implementing all modern treatment techniques that are applied worldwide. From the moment a patient arrives at our institute, we make every effort to ensure they will receive the excellent standard of care they deserve.

With the very latest facilities and high standard technological equipment, Mediterranean Fertility Institute guarantees high IVF success rates as the investigations of infertility are carried out at all levels in order to achieve the better possible solution.
