All started with the establishment of Mutiara Ibu Maternity Clinic in Pluit, northern Jakarta Area. The Clinic grew rapidly according to Jakarta’s growth, which led to the evolution of the Clinic into Maternity Hospital under the name RSIA Family (Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Family). RSIA Family started its operation in March 25th, 2002 with 2–storey building, 19 inpatient beds, 2 Obgyn specialists, 2 Anesthetic specialists, 1 Pediatrician, along with several supporting services, such as Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Physiotherapy. In 2004, the Hospital further expand itself to respond increasing market demand. As a result, it turned into 4–storey building, fully equipped (and supported) with 53 inpatient beds, 15 Obgyn specialist, 8 Pediatricians, and 2 Internists. In October 2004, RSIA Family further announce the opening of its Family Fertility Center (FCC) and Women Laparoscopy Center. All aimed to provide treatment & solution to infertility problems. As a result, RSIA Family have extend its services into the field of In–vitro fertilization and Diagnostic Laparoscopy in order to provide comprehensive treatment to gynaecological problems. In 2013, RSIA Family have achieved full accreditation by the Indonesian ministry of health for its 5–basic services. In 2016, RSIA Family were fully equipped with 61 inpatient beds, 22 Obgyn specialists, 3 Fertility consultants, 9 Pediaticians, 5 Anesthetic specialists, 1 Internist, 1 General surgeon, 2 Pathology specialists, 1 Nutritionist, and 5 General practitioners. To further support its operation, RSIA Family also houses several facilities, such as Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Family Fertility Center (FFC), Woman Laparascopy Center and 4–D Ultrasound facility. Aside from the above, we also have Family Fertility Center (FFC) which was established in 2004 by group of highly qualified Obgyn and In–Vitro Fertilization specialist. FFC’s aims to be the Center of Excellence in artificial fertilization. The FCC team is currently led by dr. Muchsin Jaffar, SpPK. The team consists of highly-qualified doctors, medical assistant, and paramedics. Further equipped with modern technology on their dispatch, we are more than ready to serve you. FCC service consists of: Fertility consultation, Intra Urine Insemination, In–Vitro Fertilization, ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), MESA (Microsurgical Epididymal Sperm Aspiration), TESE (Testcular Sperm Extraction), Simpan Beku Embrio/ Sperma (Embryo / Sperm Cryopreservation), Siklus Natural/ Minimal Stimulasi, IVM (In Vitro Maturation).
