Dr. Kahana has been a gynecologist for about 30 years. The main area of specialization is fertility medicine in its various aspects.

Dr. Kahana completed his medical studies at Tel Aviv University, and completed his internship in gynecology at Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva. After completing the internship, he underwent training in fertility treatments in Israel and abroad, including as a lecturer in the field of fertility and for many years has been considered one of the leading experts in the field in Israel.

Each of the couple is a world and its fullness, each has the mental and social medical background with which he approaches treatment.

Spouses are an important tier and full partners in the decision-making process regarding treatment, therefore they must receive complete information that includes more than one treatment option, find in the therapist a listening and available partner and not just a medical and dominant instance exclusively in decision-making.

Dr. Kahana performs the necessary tests to obtain the relevant information before the treatment decisions, including, hysteroscopy, ultrasound examinations, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, hormonal evaluation of both partners and evaluation of the quality of the partner's sperm.
