Pregnancy rates are expressed per embryo transfer procedure. This is in order to make the data comparable with the results reported each year by international monitoring bodies and, in the Italian territory, by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS). The cumulative probabilities of pregnancy (often cited by other ART centers) refer to all therapeutic attempts of each couple and can provide an apparent overestimation of the effectiveness of each ART techniques.

N.B. Pregnancy rates are expressed per embryo transfer procedure. In the GynePro Centers all embryos obtained from egg donation (simple or with the use of donated spermatozoa) are transferred to the blastocyst stage (5th-6th day of incubation), i.e. when the embryos have reached their maximum potential for success.

Prolongation of embryo culture at the blastocyst stage: it allows to obtain considerable and significantly higher success rates in homologous and heterologous MAP, compared to the average reported in Italy by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

The use of incubators with a time lapse system used in GynePro for all our patients allows us to follow in real time and optimize the development of embryos. Embryonic quality improves and more mature embryos (blastocysts) are formed.
