Located in Lebanon, Azoury IVF Clinic was one of the first fertility centers in the Middle East and despite the growing number of new IVF centers in the region, it remains the leader in this field and offers the most up-to-date infertility treatments. Doctor Joseph Azoury, the founder of Azoury IVF Clinic, was the first one to introduce Intra Cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) to Lebanon in 1995 – as soon as this technique started worldwide and before it even became a common practice in the United States. Since then, he has performed more than 30,000 IVF cycles. Currently, we are the only IVF center in Lebanon that owns the Embryoscope; which is the newest revolution in the field of infertility treatment.

Dr. Joseph Azoury has more than 30 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. He is currently the head of this department in Mount Lebanon Hospital. He has personally delivered more than 40 thousand babies! He offers personalized care before, during and after pregnancy and has a very big experience in taking in charge women experiencing high-risk pregnancies related to obstetric, medical, surgical or genetic complications. Doctor Joseph Azoury started his career in In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) in 1987 in Paris. He is currently the “GODFATHER” of Assisted Reproductive Technologies in Lebanon. He was the first one to introduce ICSI to Lebanon in 1995 and the first one to introduce the Embryoscope to the Middle–East in 2013. He is member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, the Lebanese Society for Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been recently elected President of the Lebanese Infertility Society by his colleagues. Dr. Joseph Azoury is always up-to-date with all the advances in the field of human reproduction and IVF and does his best to participate in the maximal number of international meetings. In a small country like Lebanon, IVF patients choose their doctors mainly according to their reputation and their word of mouth success-rate. Dr. Azoury alone performs more than a thousand cycles of IVF per year.
