Egg freezing Slovakia

●Pack #1: Egg freezing (one controlled ovarian stimulation cycle + one oocyte retrieval trial + one oocyte vitrification trial) pack’s cost starts at 1,305.00 EUR. Note, the storage of the vitrified oocyte in the cryobank is not covered by this fee. The vitrified oocytes storage pack costs 550.00 EUR.

More details about the pack’s #1 configurations: Egg freezing (one controlled ovarian stimulation cycle + one oocyte retrieval trial + one oocyte vitrification trial) is included in the pack and covered by the pack’s cost — 1,305.00 EUR. The medication and the storage of the vitrified oocytes is not covered by the basic oocyte vitrification cycle’s fee. 

This fee covers the following ‘in–bundle’ ‘configurations: 

●Consultation with Fertility Pro and the treatment protocol’s preconfiguration.

●Consultation with embryologist and the treatment protocol’s preconfiguration.

●Diagnostic screening and testing plus laboratory tests before empowering egg freezing cycle.

●Set of additional examinations and services.

●Stimulation protocol (controlled ovarian stimulation protocol’s drafting and empowering). 

●Oocyte retrieval under the general anesthesia.

●Oocyte vitrification (egg freezing). 

‘What is not in the bundle?’ The vitrified oocytes’ storage bundle is an extra bundle that should be ‘activated’ with egg freezing bundle. The vitrified oocytes storage pack costs 550.00 EUR. 

●Freezing of all mature eggs and storage for a period of one year — 550.00 EUR.

●Storage of cryopreserved oocytes for the next 12 months — 150.00 EUR.

●Medication for controlled ovarian stimulation cycle.

●Medication (extra medication) if necessary.

‘What is not in the bundle?’

Diagnostic tests:

●Serology Tests (Sexually Transmitted Diseases: HIV 1+2, Syphilis, Hepatitis B+C, blood type + RH factor) — compulsory tests in GYN — FIV a.s. — 50.00 EUR.

●Complex initial laboratory examinations (before ‘booking’ the IVF pack) — 250.00 EUR. 

●Preoperative medical examination — 110.00 EUR.

●AMH test (Anti–Müllerian Hormone Test) — 40.00 EUR. 

Medication:

Medication used for empowering the controlled ovarian stimulation protocol (the hormonal stimulation) costs approximately 1,000.00 EUR.

Consultations in a foreign language for patients being insured in Slovakia

●Consultation in a foreign language (primary health care, ultrasound examination), 30 min. — 15.00 EUR.

●Consultation in a foreign language (one–day surgery, infertility treatment), 30 min. — 35.00 EUR.

Consultations in a foreign language for patients not being insured in Slovakia

●Consultation in a foreign language (primary health care, ultrasound examination), 30 min. — 35.00 EUR.

●Consultation in a foreign language (one–day surgery, infertility treatment), 30 min. — 70.00 EUR. 

Consultations in Slovak language for patients not being insured in Slovakia

●Consultation (one–day surgery, infertility treatment), 30 min. — 35.00 EUR.

Prices listed in the Pricelist for particular procedures are final. Prices for medication and other procedures performed out of GYN — FIV a.s. are not included in the price for procedures. Payments are made on the day of starting treatment at the reception of the company GYN — FIV a.s. (directly in the Centre for Gynecology, Urology and Assisted Reproduction).

Supportive procedures:

●Oocyte activation — 150.00 EUR.

●IVM (in vitro maturation for the oocytes that are not mature) — 500.00 EUR.

Others: 

Service charge and preparation of documentation on delivery/receipt of samples of genetic material — 200.00 EUR.

The price for transporting genetic material — sperm — of cancer patients to another facility is set individually according to the applicable internal regulation of GYN — FIV a.s. 

*50% discount applies to patients with embryo monitoring in embryoscope within the IVF cycle.

**the procedure is subject to the completion of morphological and kinetic semen analysis (price according to the current pricelist). Prices listed in the Pricelist for particular procedures are final.
