IUI (intrauterine insemination) with donor’s sperm (or IUI with sperm donation) bundle cost is EUR 1375. This is low cost treatment option, therefore, many women, if there is no adverse fertility issues, are choosing it prior to more advanced cycles.
This fee covers the following:
• Cycle sonograms and blood tests
• Artificial insemination
• Donor semen
*Note: Should the cycle be cancelled upon physician advice, the sonograms already performed must be paid at €75 per unit.
*Tests are not included in the Assisted Reproduction estimate
You may bring with you tests already done prior to the treatment like serologies, hormone analyses and blood type.
Prior to design IUI with sperm donation cycle, pre–treatment screening tests should be done and the results of blood tests should be obtained. Before your first appointment, we recommend that you receive the results of the blood tests listed below:
WOMEN
— Blood type
The following results should be from no more than 6 months ago:
• Toxoplasmosis IgG
• Rubella (HAH)
• HIV
• HBV (hepatitis B)
• HCV (hepatitis C)
• RPR/VDRL (syphilis)
If you cannot take these tests in your country, do not worry: you can easily take them in our clinic on your first appointment, which will last approximately two hours. We will perform a gynecological ultrasound to evaluate your uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries. We will also perform a simulation transfer to ensure that there are no obstructions.

3. PRE–DIAGNOSTIC RESULT
IUI with sperm donation (IUI with sperm donor or IUI with donated sperm)
This is a relatively simple technique that can be performed without any hospital stay or sedation. It can be done with or without hormonal stimulation. The sperm used comes from a fully guaranteed semen donor. The semen is washed and prepared so that it can later be placed directly into the uterus through the cervix using a flexible tube. It is scheduled to be performed at the same time as ovulation in order to increase the chances of pregnancy
PHASES IN THE PROCEDURE
Phase 1. First in–person appointment
Please remember to bring all the information required in this folder:
— National ID card or passport of both
— Results of the medical tests, should you have them. If not, you can do them at the Juaneda facilities at a competitive price.
A specialized physician will see you, evaluate you and confirm the kind of treatment course to follow.
You will be given the informed consent form for the technique to be performed, which you must read, understand and sign. Document with the phenotype characteristics of both partners in order to select a semen donor in line with these characteristics.
Phase 2. Mild ovarian stimulation
In this case, with ovarian stimulation we coordinate the exact time of ovulation with the injection of the treated spermatozoids inside the uterus. A series of sonograms are performed, and if necessary we look at the oestriadol level in the blood to ascertain the ideal time for insemination.
Phase 3 Artificial insemination
In the laboratory, the donor semen sample will be treated and then introduced into the patient’s uterus using a catheter. Tubing is a simple technique that requires no anesthesia and lasts no longer than 5 minutes. The patient should rest for another 15 minutes and then may leave the clinic.
METHODS OF PAYMENT
