At the LIV Fertility Center, industrialized fertility technology allows intended parents to choose the gender of a baby — prior to conception.
What is Gender Selection?
The most frequent and elective action of gender selection is known as family balancing. Couples who have had one or more children of the same sex may decide to have another child of the opposite sex. Our MicroSort program is designed to do just that.
Medical gender selection allows couples who may be suffering from certain genetic disorders to reduce the risk of passing it on to their children. Some genetic disorders are associated more with male children than female, such as muscular dystrophy and hemophilia. For genetic disease risk, our fertility specialists use the advanced technique known as Preimplantation genetic screening (PGS).
