Fertility Argentina has the IVF packages with sperm donation (IVF packages with donated sperm). IVF cycle with donated sperm is exclusively designed IVF protocol for the couples facing the severe male factor infertility. For this IVF cycle intended mother’s oocytes are fertilized with donated sperm with /or without ICSI technique.
The sperm cell is the POWERFUL MICROCHIP that transfers the secured genetic content inside the oocyte through the penetration empowering both genetic contents to blend and to turn into the brand–new embryonic content.
IVF with donated sperm package (IVF with sperm donation) cost is 5100 USD. IVF with sperm donation and ICSI fertilization technique cost is also 5100 USD.
IVF with donated sperm cycle can be synchronized with FEE–FREE ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection). Intracytoplasmic sperm injection is a cutting–edge advanced technique that allows performing fertilization manually. One “boutique–quality” sperm cell is immobilized (caught by its tail), launched into the ICSI injection micropipette and directly injected “inside” the oocyte.
What is IVF with sperm donation?
IVF or “in vitro fertilization” is an exclusive technique that empowers the embryologists to launch the embryo generation events in the laboratories. In other words, the embryos are created manually by the embryologists, after that they are transferred to the incubators, their development is accurately monitored through the Time–lapse Embryoscope that enables studio–quality visualization of the embryo–growing event PLUS cutting–edge augmented reality video–content and photos that frame the timeline of embryo development and turn envisioned things in visual ones.
*Time–Lapse is the world’s most advanced embryo–operating system ever launched exclusively for high–resolution visualization of every stage of embryo development including the detection of the embryo development abnormalities on the earliest stages and keeping all the information PLUS high–resolution full–color video & photo content that makes it possible to select the best embryos for the embryo transfer. After that, the top–quality embryos with ideal morphology are selected for embryo transfer event. If necessary, assisted hatching is performed for boosting the implantation success prior to embryo transfer. Or PGS/PGD biopsy is performed for the embryonic genetic content investigation to exclude the genetic disorders and implantation failure prior to embryo transfer. Mock embryo transfer can be also designed prior to embryo transfer event to empower the Reproductive Specialist with high–resolution ultrasound visualization of the “future embryo–transfer way” and intrauterine “peculiarities” mapping for successful embryo–launching PLUS the catheter intrauterine insertion and its “mapping.”
IVF with sperm donation is the IVF cycle that includes the basic stages of the basic IVF cycle, but the fertilization is done with donated sperm. These cycles are designed for the couples facing severe male factor infertility, single women without a male partner and lesbian couples.
Fertility Argentina: IVF with donated sperm — step by step
The fertility specialists at Fertility Argentina have extensive experience in designing successful treatment cycles for infertility cases. Backed by the unparalleled & extensive state–of–the–art experience, synchronized with the latest & most powerful techniques & technologies & empowered by professionals, Fertility Argentina’s Team offers inclusive treatment protocols that are flexible in the core and effective when implemented.
STEP 1 — Initial Consultation with your Fertility Argentina Reproductive Specialist
Every IVF journey starts with an initial consultation. The initial consultation is exclusively designed for transparent and inclusive discussion of your situation and drafting the treatment options you have. Your medical history is comprehensively studied and your questions are answered. As every IVF Bundle is multi–optional before it is “launched,” it should be envisaged, drafted, discussed and the flexible treatment protocol should be designed.
STEP 2 — Choosing the Sperm Donor for IVF Cycle
Sperm donation program empowers the couples to choose the sperm donor according to their preferences with ideal health profile. Prior to selecting the sperm donor, you will be given access to the Sperm Donors’ Profiles where the detailed information about every donor in recorded.
Their profiles include several photos’ representation to give you the visualization of the sperm donor’s appearance (including the notes about sperm donor’s height, weight, skin color, hair color & structure (curly, wavy, straight), eye color), donor’s personal biography, information about education, medical history and reproductive history, donor’s family history and donor’s genetic history. This information is given for you to select the sperm donor according to your personal preference of characteristics and continue with your IVF program.
*The sperm donor is non–smoker / no drug use, Free from sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s), without genetically transmitted diseases and without psychological disorders.
STEP 3 — Preparation for IVF Cycle
Fertility Argentina’s medical team is dedicated to turning your dream about having a baby into a real thing. Our core values are passion, committing, sincerity and ethics. We design the preparation stage of every IVF cycle with the utter attention to details. We understand that sometimes prior to pre–treatment tests the counseling is essential. The counseling is designed for turning every IVF cycle into a positive experience.
Pre–treatment tests are done before the controlled ovarian stimulation is started to reveal the infertility cause and design the medicated ovarian stimulation protocol. Fertility screening tests, fertility blood tests, infectious disease blood screening, uterine evaluation, cardiovascular evaluation, the genetic tests (if necessary), other tests, and male fertility testing.
STEP 4 — Controlled Ovarian Stimulation
After pre–treatment tests are done and their results are received, your Reproductive Specialist will discuss with you the diagnosis and the controlled ovarian stimulation protocol will be drafted, discussed and redesigned if necessary. You will take oral contraceptives or/and inject the ovarian stimulation hormones to stimulate follicle growth.
The ovarian stimulation protocol will be controlled via regular ultrasound scans that visualize the “what is going on inside,” and the blood tests will be done to measure and control your hormone levels. The ultrasounds empower fertility specialists to count the multiple visible follicles sized 2 mm–10 mm. These visible morphologically healthy follicles have “in their content” an immature oocyte that may potentially mature and ovulate, and to envisage how many oocytes may be collected for completing the fertilization stage of IVF cycle.
The ovulation timeline will be also closely monitored to prevent self–ovulation event. Eventually, the Trigger Shot will be done, and oocyte retrieval event will be scheduled.
STEP 5 — Oocyte Retrieval and Oocyte Collection Event
The timeline for Trigger Shot is usually nearly 36 hours before the oocyte retrieval procedure is performed. Trigger shot is the injectable medication that prevents self–ovulation and “secures” your “oocyte collection” for egg retrieval timeline. Trigger shot shapes the timeframe for the oocyte retrieval and stimulates ovulation and oocyte release event (oocytes are released from the follicles). The oocyte retrieval is performed under ultrasound guidance. You are given anesthesia and IVs to make this procedure more comfortable. The retrieved and collected oocytes are transferred to the laboratory.
The oocyte is the largest, the most secure and the most vulnerable “MICROCHIP” ever. Its sunburst “shape” has the dual–control authentication system that secures the oocyte from multiple penetrations and its’ exclusively designed with genomic content. The one “Microchip” is released every month during ovulation and if fertilized (if two genomic contents interact with each other), the embryo is created.
The follicles are visualized with an ultrasound probe and retrieved with a special oocyte retrieval needle that is “launched” into the ovarian follicle. The oocyte–retrieval needle removes the fluid from the follicles that contain the oocytes. Oocytes’ and their fluid is transferred from the follicles through the needle and collected in the tubing. Retrieved fluid with “diamonds” is accurately collected in the tubing and transferred to the laboratory for further preparation.
STEP 7 — Sperm Collection & Preparation
If fertilization is done with fresh sperm, then at the same timeline the donor’s sperm is collected and transferred into the laboratory for further investigation. The sperm is accurately investigated, after that it is washed and prepared for insemination.
STEP 8 — Oocyte Collection &Preparation
After the oocyte retrieval & oocyte collection, there is one more step before fertilization — oocyte preparation that is medically termed “denudation.” Denudation is done to reveal the oocyte from the other cells that surround it. This procedure prepares the oocyte for the fertilization or for ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm microinjection) that is performed to fertilize the oocyte manually using the microtools under the IVF micromanipulator.
STEP 9 — Oocyte Fertilization with ICSI
Fresh or frozen prepared donated sperm is taken for fertilization. If fertilization is done through the ICSI technique, then one single spermatozoon is caught by its tail and injected directly into one oocyte. Then the other single spermatozoon is caught by its tail and injected in the other oocyte. After fertilization, all oocytes are launched into an incubator. Fertilization timeline is 15–18 hours after ICSI. The embryologist monitors the embryo development using the Embryo Scope.
STEP 10 — PGS or PGD may be performed to identify the embryonic genetic content that is free from chromosomal & genetic abnormalities
It is possible to perform preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) or preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) in Fertility Argentina’s laboratory. Genetic testing is performed to ensure that every embryo that is selected for embryo transfer procedure is free from genetic and chromosomal abnormalities. PGD makes it possible to reveal the embryonic gender prior to the embryo transfer procedure.
STEP 11 — Mock Embryo Transfer & Actual Embryo Transfer
Mock embryo transfer is a non–invasive procedure that is used for generating an ideal mapping for future embryonic intrauterine launching event. The procedure involves ultrasound–guided mapping of uterine peculiarities and catheter placement inside the uterus. After mock embryo transfer, the actual embryo transfer is scheduled and performed. During actual embryo transfer, the tiny embryo is taken from the incubator, “launched inside the catheter” and transferred into the uterus via a tiny flexible catheter. This procedure is non–invasive and is performed without anesthesia. The other embryos that are left, might be cryopreserved for the future.
STEP 12 — Ultrasound Monitoring & Pregnancy Test
A pregnancy test is taken two weeks after the embryo transfer. You will return to Fertility Argentina for a pregnancy test, blood work and ultrasound monitoring. First, you will take a pregnancy test. After that, there will be blood work and ultrasound monitoring for embryo heart activity. If the pregnancy test represents two lines, the ultrasound scan detects the embryo heart activity and the hormonal levels in your blood are high — congratulations, you are pregnant!
