It consists of the injection of a spermatozoid inside the cytoplasm of the oocyte with the aid of a computerized system that allows visualizing by birefrigence the interior of the ovule at the time of ICSI.

This technology involves a microscope with polarized light and a set of special filters that allow differentiated image contrast. With this contrast it is possible to visualize a specific organelle in the ovule (the meiotic spindle). The visualization of the meiotic spindle during the injection of the spermatozoon inside the ovum increases the fertilization and consequently the number of embryos formed, allowing the choice of the best embryo that will be transferred to the uterus of the patient.
