Fertility Treatment & Surrogacy in Turkey
Endowed with vibrant culture, glorious landscapes, unique architecture, and showcase scenery that never fails to impress, Turkey is a dazzling destination that straddles Asia and Europe. This destination attracts many European and Asian singles and couples by its beautiful nature, phenomenal climate, and top–quality medical services. Most couples seeking fertility treatment choose Turkey because having a cycle here is less expensive than in their countries. It is possible to vitrify unfertilized oocytes and Ivf embryos for future FET (unlike in most Asian countries).
But there are some nuances to consider before booking flight tickets: (1) accessibility to fertility treatment is legally restricted to heterosexual couples. (2) Turkish law doesn’t allow egg, sperm, or embryo donation and all types of surrogacy. Therefore, only IVF treatment using own eggs and sperm is allowed. And (3) the couple undergoing treatment should be married.
According to the current legislation in Turkey, Ivf clinics are not allowed to provide IVF or artificial insemination for singles, unmarried heterosexual couples, and LGBTQIA+ singles and couples wanting to have children.
