Our team of doctors has very long experience in both IVF and general gynecology. Our research- and evidence-based approach puts a clear and distinctive mark on our clinical work. All employees at the clinic are active researchers after a dissertation or as doctoral students. Both professor Lars Nilsson as well as professor Mats Brännström started researching infertility and ovulation as early as the 1970s and 1980s, respectively. Lars Nilsson was an important member of the team at the Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, which in 1982 carried out the IVF treatment which led to the first IVF child in Scandinavia. At Stockholm IVF, we have broad expertise in both clinical work as well as modern research in infertility, reproductive medicine including new methods such as egg cell freezing and uterine transplantation.
Our goal is to be the leading private IVF clinic in Sweden in terms of quality, results and research. We achieve this by having academically and clinically highly qualified doctors, embryologists and nurses in our staff. Our partnerships with internationally leading IVF clinics in Europe, the US and Asia ensure that we stay up to date on the latest developments in reproductive medicine. Our patients are always in focus. We assure this through the highest quality of care and personal care.
