The Lugano Regional Hospital is a multi-specialty public hospital equipped with modern infrastructures and cutting-edge medical technology.

Located in the southern region of Italian Switzerland, within the Regional Hospital of Lugano there is a different and complementary orientation of specialization: the Civic more equipped to respond effectively to the most serious and urgent pathologies, and the Italian oriented towards a surgery and a short-term and outpatient medicine.

The hospital has the task of ensuring basic hospital care for the district of Lugano and a series of specialized regional and cantonal services.

The health services offered are complementary to those provided by the other institutions that make up the multi-site EOC hospital, thus guaranteeing one of the distinctive features of the Cantonal Hospital Authority: a multidisciplinary approach and a global patient care.

The Lugano Regional Hospital is therefore, like all other healthcare facilities that make up the multi-site EOC hospital, an access point not only to the individual institution, but to the entire hospital structure of the EOC and to the specializations offered.
