Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area

Established in the earliest days of reproductive medicine, Reproductive Science Center (RSC) of the Bay Area is a leading network of San Francisco fertility treatment clinics. Our doctors include some of the nation’s most distinguished IVF pioneers, and we’ve offered more than three decades of fertility care to thousands of families of all cultural, ethnic, and sexual orientations.

Our early successes made medical history when we delivered some of America’s first “test tube babies.” In 1984, RSC made headlines for achieving the first IVF conception in the East Bay Area. This resulted in RSC’s first “test tube baby,” Elizabeth Castro Wilson, born in 1985. The following year, RSC was responsible for the birth of Travis McCullar, the nation’s second baby born from a frozen embryo. Since then, more than 12,000 babies have been born as a result of infertility treatment at RSC.

RSC’s commitment to parenthood extends well beyond IVF treatment, as we offer a full range of fertility services including intrauterine insemination (IUI), corrective surgery for infertility, integrative medicine, fertility preservation, egg freezing, surrogacy and more.

As the years have unfolded, we’ve become well-known for our outstanding success rates and egg donor program that draws patients and donors from Northern California, the Western United States, Asia, India and around the world.

When it comes to treating infertility, RSC is a pioneer. We prioritize parenthood above all else, proudly helping people of all backgrounds, races and orientations realize their dream of having a family.
