Carlos Humberto Quintero G., MD. received his medical and specialist degree in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia) in 1983 and 1988 respectively. He pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Temple University (Philadelphia, USA) in 1994-1995.
Dr. Quintero was the coordinator of the first Assisted Reproduction Program created in Cali, Colombia in 1996 and 1997 and joined the Unit of Reproductive Medicine at Imbanaco Medical Center in 1998 developing with his partners a successful Assisted Reproductive Technology program. He is currently assistant professor at Universidad del Valle and Universidad Libre School of Medicine in Cali, Colombia. Dr. Quintero has published several scientific papers in international journals and textbooks and participated as a lecturer in different national and international academic meetings.
He is a member of national and international medical specialty societies as the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and a founding member of the Asociación Colombiana de Endocrinología Ginecológica y Reproductiva (ACEGYR).
