For the last several years the success rate /pregnancies per transfer/ has been between 48% and 52%. Usually 2, but not more than 3 embryos are transferred. The rest of them are frozen and preserved on patient,s request for 5 years. So the triplet pregnancies are minimized to 1% and the duplets – under 25%. CAR, “Varna” does not make use of embryo reduction (triplets to duplets or duplets to singletons), any longer, except for malformations.
