She received her training in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology from King's College Hospital, London UK. Dr. K. Ghosh Dastidar has to her credit over 25 publications in National & International journals and has authored two medical textbooks on her subject, which are the first of their kind from India, and is presently completing her third book on ultrasound. She is undoubtedly among the best in IVF surrogacy in India today. In 1998 she was awarded as the 3rd best junior scientist of India.
