Ho effettuato un intervento di chirurgia plastica additiva al seno presso l’Ospedale Haigeia di Tirana e la mia esperienza è stata assolutamente eccellente.
Il personale infermieristico è super professionale: disponibile, preparato, attento e sempre cordiale, capace di farti sentire seguita e al sicuro in ogni momento.
Un ringraziamento speciale al dott. Erdem Ufuk, un chirurgo eccezionale non solo dal punto di vista professionale, ma anche umano: sempre presente, rassicurante e attento a ogni dettaglio.
Menzione d’onore al coordinatore Taulant (Franck): semplicemente perfetto. Mi ha seguita passo dopo passo fin dal primo minuto, organizzando tutto il percorso fino all’uscita dalla struttura con una precisione incredibile e curando ogni dettaglio.
Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a chiunque stia pensando di affrontare un intervento di chirurgia estetica: professionalità, umanità e organizzazione impeccabile.

Came to Hygeia for a complete physical. At 80 years old and a full-time nomad/traveler for over 20 years I have experienced many medical facilities and doctors.\nHygeia was by far the easiest, quickest and most complete I have ever been to. They skipped nothing. Very cost competitive and super easy to deal with.\nThe doctors were both encouraging and when necessary gave sage advise as I continue on my travels.\nTo make an appointment I simply did everything by Whatsapp. They scheduled the initial consultation and tests. From the the gp recommended further tests after consulting with me about my lifestyle and goals.\nI could not be happier.

Përvoja ime e lindjes në spital ka qenë shumë pozitive. Doktoreshë Ermira Kasa u tregua një profesioniste e zonja, shumë e kujdesshme, e komunikueshme dhe gjithmonë pranë me mbështetje. Gjithashtu, dua të veçoj dy mami të mrekullueshme, Rudina Fazllia dhe Dashurie Krrashi, të cilat u kujdesën me shumë përkushtim për mua gjatë këtij procesi. I’m currently preparing to welcome my baby here, and I already feel so supported. From the moment I first walked into the maternity ward, the staff have been warm, reassuring, and genuinely caring. Every nurse, midwife, and doctor I’ve met has taken time to answer my questions, explain each step, and make me feel comfortable.\n\nThe hospital is clean, calm, and organized, which really helps reduce stress during such an emotional time. I especially appreciate how the team makes me feel like more than just a patient—they remember my name, ask how I’m feeling, and treat my birth plan with respect.\n\nIf the care I’ve received so far is anything like what’s ahead during delivery, I know my baby and I will be in the best possible hands. I’m truly grateful for their kindness and dedication.

The scheduling feels completely irresponsible: I was booked for 11:00, yet at 12:00 I’m still waiting for the 10:00 patient to finish. Of course, every consultation is different and may occasionally run longer, but when appointments are scheduled every half hour, there’s barely enough time for a patient to explain their concerns properly. No one should be expected to wait for hours, especially when they’re already dealing with discomfort or health problems. This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had at a hospital.

I previously shared my thoughts on the efficiency of hospitals here, and I can’t stress enough how different it is compared to what I’m used to in the U.S.\n\nIn Albania, the process is streamlined—less paperwork, fewer bureaucratic hurdles, and way less waiting around. I used to dread those hours spent in American hospitals, waiting for lab results or discharge. Here, I felt like everything was handled promptly. When it was time for me to go home, I simply said yes, and boom—I was out the door! 🚪✨\n\nHowever, the level of care feels different. In the U.S., you’re constantly monitored, with your vitals checked frequently. Here, I was only monitored once a day with a traditional blood pressure cuff. Pain management was also a bit of a surprise—they don’t follow a strict schedule, and I found myself hesitant to ask for more relief. Morphine was the go-to, but it wasn’t my favorite choice.\n\nOverall, I’d give this experience 4 out of 5 stars! ⭐️ The efficiency truly made a world of difference. I’m grateful for how quickly I got the care I needed, allowing me to get back to living my life healthier and happier.

The pediatric team went above and beyond to make sure our son received the best care possible. The nurses were so friendly, and the child-friendly environment helped keep him calm and relaxed.
