I had the most horrible experience here a year ago today.
was hardly supported.
I had a surgical termination .
they do not allow anyone to wait in the main waiting area in the clinic you have to wait out in the street if you need someone .
I went in waited for about 20 minuets then was told to go sit in a chair with a curtain , had the meds to start the process , was not given Panadol.
hour later someone came and said we are going in , in a minuet , wasn't checked on before that.
I went in for surgery 2 minuets after that and they said lay down on the table , put the needle in my arm and nurse said "here you go" and then I woke up and the surgery was done.
I was never even told what they was doing , checked on , or given Panadol.
when I woke up surgery utensils and matter was still around me which I had to see .
I then got put back out in prep room , sat there for 3 minuets they tried to give me a tablet to help avoid infection , I couldn't swollow the tablet so I went without .
After 4 minuets post surgery I was told I can't wait in the clinic for my mother to pick me up and that I have to wait outside to which was only a gutter to sit down in.
before leaving I had uncontrollable shakes and felt so ill that I threw up outside and in the car on the way home .

I specifically booked this appointment because the website portrayed a specialisation in Menopause and women's health and guaranteed a supportive and understanding staff.
Unfortunately I have come away feeling like it was a waste of time and money. I feel like I got no more interest or support than I would have done from my GP in a 15 minute consult.
Like many other women, I've been dealing with an assortment of symptoms and I wanted to have someone listen to my history and experience and give me some support and an indication of whether or not my symptoms were common menopause symptoms or not and what my options may be in managing them.
Firstly the doctor was running quite late and, perhaps because of that, it felt like she was just rushing through the 'cookie cutter' steps for a menopause consult rather than showing a real interest in understanding my symptoms and experience.
She responded alarmingly when she read my cardiologist results (which would have frightened me if I hadn't had the all clear from the cardiologist himself) and then again alarmingly when I asked if it could be neurological by very matter of factly answering 'well yes it could be' and moving on.
The overall feeling of the consult was the opposite to supportive and comforting

I went there for a contraceptive procedure and it was a terrible terrible experience. I was put under general, they didn't complete a secondary procedure which was discussed with both nursing staff and doctor beforehand then made up a story about why 'clinically' it wasn't necessary. I was ushered out of recovery while I was still dizzy with head spins. The recovery nurse was rushing about reciting information, the things I guess lawfully they need to advise post recovery while I was still drowsy and out of it. When I asked her questions she continued answering me while she moved about cleaning the stalls both to the left and right of me. There was no regard or care for patients at all. When I got home after having a sleep I had pain in my right elbow which bruised- which must have occured while they moved to me the recovery bed while I was still asleep. Shocking! I will NEVER go back there. If I could give a ZERO star rating I would.
Previous to this experience here ( I believe in second chances) I was given an incorrect date for the expiry of my IUD (like a 1 year difference!) which resulted in an internal infection.
I will never return to that clinic ever again.

This place needs to learn that people's time is valuable. Charging a patient $90 just to tell her in the face (they call it a 'consultation') that a procedure cannot be done on the agreed day and time is completely unacceptable. Your front desk lady may have made a mistake while making a booking, but all you need is a phone call to let your patient know that the procedure is not going ahead so she didn't have to waste time, money, and efforts.

SHOCKING!!
Unfortunately my brief experience with the front of house staff was terrible.
Yelp wouldn't permit NO stars, so they got one.
The reception staff are rude and short with clients. Their phone number is always engaged, and call backs are at their inconvenience. It staggers me that in this modern world women are made to feel inferior in a clinic that promotes health and wellbeing. I don't recommend them.

I was impressed by the professionalism of the women at the front desk, they were extremely polite and very personable. I had my operation last week and I must say that I was very nervous but my experience was nothing but amazing. The doctors and nurses are patient and very attentive I couldn't thank them enough.

Dr Justin Low was very friendly and professional, and put me completely at ease during my surgery last Tuesday. A special thanks also to Fiona, Lizzy, Jenny, and Amy, all of who have made the experience as painless and less stressful as possible. The practice is very modern and clean. I would say the only drawback was the rather long waiting time, but understandably, where surgeries are concerned, appointment timetables are inevitably harder to maintain. Again, a big thank you to Clinic 66 and its team!

The doctors at the practice are very nice but unfortunately the practice is very badly run and the practice staff at the front desk are very rude. This ruins the whole experience. I will go elsewhere in the future.
