Create Fertility

Clinic flat out refused to give me a copy of any clinic documentation they had on my embryo, prior to my FET. We were told by an embryologist she would verbally tell me and I could write it down, but WOULD NOT provide a copy of documentation of the embryo being transferred that day. My husband and I were present at the clinic for a FET at the time.nnI requested very basic information on the embryo that they had already thawed and were about to TF. (I wanted to see if it was a day5 blast & that it was mine ie had my patient identifiers on the document; as we had 2 embryos frozen) prior to them transferring it into my body. Which, I don’t feel is an unreasonable request by any means.nnI was then told I could have a document about my other embryo only (we had 2 total: 1x still left in freeze) but not the one they were using for the transfer today.nWeirdly, this embryo was from the same batch. This set off alarm bells for my husband and I (why would they only provide us a copy of the information for the embryo we weren’t using?)nnWe then had the (?)manager call me, gaslighting me. Explaining to me that ‘this is not what was said’ to me (In that, I wasn’t refused to be given any documentation) and that I had requested documents from another clinic, (which I hadn’t) and that there was a “miscommunication about what you wanted.”nI was very clear about what I was requesting. So this is simply untrue.nImportant to note the manager wasn't even present, did not witness the conversation; she was working from home…nnMy option was quickly becoming: to receive an FET with an embryo that the clinic was refusing to give me ANY form of documentation on, or cop the expense, risk and heartbreak of having to cancel my cycle: refreeze/ unfreeze at a later date and run the risk I lose my embryo in the process of this. I have a complex condition so reaching the point where everything aligns and I can go for a FET is a big deal. It was special and exciting for us.nnUltimately, I refused to have my FET done until I was provided with some form of documentation (alarm bells were really going off in my head at this point). I felt with the lack of information provided, it could have been anyone’s embryo (or anything) that they were going to be transferring (how would we really know?!). I had previously been to another clinic and had a FET, where I saw two embryologists check my embryo (as safe guarding). So the fact that we only saw one embryologist that day was alarming.nnI was eventually given a photocopied document with information, but the embryo EMB# had been scribbled off so we couldn’t see it. We have later noticed our embryo ID on a previous document doesn’t match anything on this document.nnI ended up going through with the transfer. I really felt ‘damned if I do- damned if I don’t’. By that point - I was so upset, had already run well over my appointment time, the environment felt tense, negative and the procedure rushed. I felt like a farm animal getting inseminated (get her done and get out)nnI highly anticipate a poor outcome after this (what a waste!). I’m hoping the embryo TF’d was in-fact ours and was checked thoroughly (there will always be an awful feeling of not really knowing)nnEvery patient who comes through the Create Clinic - should be given access to timely, accurate and transparent information when they request it, including documentation (if they require it) related to THEIR care and THEIR biological materials. I truely believe this is an absolute basic need. The stakes are so high for families. This should not be treated as a flippant routine procedure.nnIm a nurse and am highly accustom to tight processes, health legislation and compliance, accountability and transparency of care; and I am well aware of the freedom of information act.nnThe fact the clinic has not bothered to reach out to provide us these requested documents or given us any kind of confirmation of our biological material, after so clearing requesting this, is disappointing.nnThis event was a devastating, and pretty traumatising, red flag for me.

There are no words that could convey our gratitude to the Create Fertility Team, for they way they supported us through our IVF journey.nFrom the moment we walked through their doors we felt welcomed, and heard. The concierge team led by Tara, became familiar faces that we looked forward to seeing at each appointment. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Tara as she so generously provided her time to converse with us and even share a much needed laugh.nnOur nursing team, Nat and Minnette went above and beyond in every way, answering endless questions, providing reassurance and at times the gentle encouragement needed to persevere with what seemed to be a daunting number of procedures.nnThe specialist team led by Tom, all had a hand in our little miracle Pippa. When we met with Tom we never felt rushed, he provided time and space to feel all our feelings and to have our questions answered in detail. We always left each appointment with a clear plan. I felt comfortable knowing Tom was on the case. He equipped us with realistic expectations ensuring we also kept hope for a positive outcome despite the challenges we faced.nnMei was the ray of sunshine we needed on those procedure days. She lifted our spirits, made us laugh and instilled us with confidence that we were in such capable and caring hands.nnHaider made us both smile as soon as he entered the room. His warmth put me at ease on egg retrieval and transfer days and his sense of humor made my partner feel comfortable to be himself.nnMassive thank you to the embryologists for their incredible work. We literally had one egg each cycle and through their amazing work we ended up with an extremely healthy 5day blastocyst at the end of each cycle. Miracle workers if you ask us. They kept us informed of the progress of our embaby and always were willing to stay on the phone to answer any questions we had. They too gave us the confidence to have hope.nnWe started our IVF Journey thinking it would be straight forward (we had no trouble conceiving our first daughter) and were devastated to discover that my egg reserve was solow. The Create Fertility team provided us with all the options and we felt empowered to make informed decisions about a treatment plan. The plan didn't always go to plan, and we didn't always remain confident, but our new cheerleaders at Create were confident enough for us.nThey pivoted and reassured us every step of the way including passing us over to the wonderful Debby Utama from Create Health for our Obstetric care, so we could have our miracle baby in the hospital of our choice.nDebby is a one in a million human being! I never thought I could connect so closely with my obstetrician, but Debby went more than above and beyond. We really felt understood as a couple and family, and Debby quickly became one of our favorite people. She supported and empowered me to make decisions about my pregnancy and labour and provided the most incredible pre natal and post partum care. Debby was so warm and bubbly, she oozed excitement for us and our growing family and we genuinely looked forward to each and every appointment. Medical care with a good dose of laughter was exactly the approach we needed and Debby was exceptional. My labour and birth was an amazingly positive experience (induced, natural birth, without pain relief) that I will carry with me forever, and I largely put it down to the trust I had in Debby.nDebby's Team were so wonderful to us, welcoming us at each appointment with a smile and a great chat. Amy in particular became one of our favorites. Her sense of humour, willingness to share her stories and listen to ours made each visit feel like a catch up session with friends.nThank you Create Fertility for the courage you gave us to keep hope. Thank you Create Health for the most positive journey through pregnancy, labour and birth. We will forever sing your praises.nnNicole, Brad, Penny and Baby Pippa 🩷.

Well where do I start? The team at Create Fertility are just amazing. When we started our IVF journey in June 2024 we never thought we would be successful after one round of IVF. Minette and Natalie were so helpful when I started the process and were so caring and supportive. I felt like they were more than just nurses more like a close friend. Always so happy to chat to me especially those times when I was feeling a bit nervous or uneasy about the whole process. They both went above and beyond with everything. Thank you ladies.nDr Pearce helped us to conceive after only one round of IVF and to this day we are so appreciative of his help. This man is amazing. If it wasn’t for Scott we wouldn’t have our miracle baby after years of trying naturally. He was so supportive and always happy to answer any questions we had.nThe receptionists at create were also so helpful and supportive and always checking in to see how I was going when I came in or called. I felt at home with the team and I miss everyone. Thanks guys xx.

I am truly grateful for my IVF journey with Create Fertility. It has been an emotional roller coaster and an overwhelming experience, but I feel genuinely cared for, with all my questions and doubts addressed. The nurses and doctors who attended to me have been amazing and incredibly attentive. I highly recommend them.

Our fertility journey with create fertility was such a positive experience. We couldn’t possibly put into words just how grateful we are for the continued support and care. Tom Manley as our fertility specialist was always there to listen to our thoughts and progress and adapt our treatment. Mei and Scott involved in egg collection and transfer made us feel at ease and excited about procedures that were also nerve wreaking.nThe fertility nurses went above and beyond in every way, they provided so much support through the progress. Special shout out to Nat and Minette who have been particularly involved in our care and continue to this day to celebrate our successes as we progress through pregnancy after a successful transfer.nSpecial mention to the embryologist’s who watched over our eggs and embryos and kept us updated along the way. They are extremely knowledgeable about the processes and happily answered any of our questions.nLastly we want to thank the concierge team especially, Tara would also went above and beyond to ensure all of our questions were answered. Having a friendly face like Tara who greets us by name as we entered the clinic added to the warmth and comfort we felt throughout our fertility journey with create fertility.nThe whole experience really did exceed our expectations.
