Just wanted to give a massive shoutout to all the staff at fertility north. Just completed my first TVOA and although the outcome wasn't what I or anyone was expecting, the empathy from everyone involved was heartwarming. Unfortunately I developed abit of OHSS after my retrieval which was challenging but I had nurses checking in on me regularly and making sure I was feeling ok. Fertility North certainly goes above and beyond to ensure patients feel heard and supported. Thankyou!

Went back to my original clinic and got 5 blastocysts again, unlike FN where I got none!!! Let that sink in!nAt FN The ‘specialist’ wanted to do surgery the first time I saw him without knowing anything about me with zero indication of needing it. I expressed multiple concerns needing extra support with my lining - this was ignored. I had no option but to get support from elsewhere to ensure any success. This was met with me being discontinued from the clinic without even being offered an alternative specialist who likely might care about me. It’s their policy that you cannot seek any other medical advice even though no one communicated this, it is not in their induction nor in consult. Perhaps if their specialist actually cared about their patients there would have been no need to seek extra support. I have never been treated by a supposed professional or spoken to in such a patronising manner in my life and I know others who have seen the same doctor who shared my concerns of never feeling comfortable in their presence. I was actually shocked in how all of this played out and how I was so poorly treated by this doctor. I got different information from different staff who denied what the other had told me to be true, denied requesting to see me even though it was in the notes the nurse communicated to me, denied they offer services I had been told they do, and the list goes on. In fact, this doctor was incredibly rude and dehumanising. He was very clear about his opinion of other doctors practices which is ironic because there was no comparison in the outcome where I had previously got many embryos and under this doctors protocol I got none. The sheer arrogance and lack of care was alarming. I was disgusted by the way he spoke to me. The administration staff are very friendly. A shame this doesn’t transfer to all that work there really. I just hope no one else has to experience the same treatment I did and I do not recommend this clinic whatsoever after the way I was simply discarded after doing absolutely nothing to help me, dismissing any concerns I had, not attempting to discuss anything with me and not bothering to inform me I could no longer attend the clinic all due to one doctor who was determined to not let me return.nnResponse to FN: as I thought, once again, dismissed with zero consideration for how a patient feels or their side of the story. What is the point of feedback if you don’t care and are always in the right no matter what. Zero explanation for discrepancies in communication, contradiction of services offered, and denying I had an appointment even though it was confirmed by both clinics. A ‘notice of termination’ via email weeks after your decision is very poor and impersonal practice especially when your patient is told by your staff they can start a new cycle to then be blindsided by the Dr. Even suggesting abusive and threatening behaviour in the letter is just laughable and insulting when I was called a liar by your nurse and told by your doctor “I’m firing you from the clinic” - verbatim! And this is what you deem simply ‘dissatisfaction’. Clearly you need to review professionalism and apply your own description of inappropriate communication to your staff rather than accuse patients of such things without knowing facts or attempting to discuss it with them. In a medical area where people are vulnerable and emotional I would expect a much higher level of sensitivity, professionalism and humanity. I now understand the policy but unfortunately was not clearly made aware of this policy and certainly wouldn’t purposefully risk my own cycle. Your doctor communicated this policy by saying “you shouldn’t have too many cooks in the kitchen”. That to him and the nurse was considered a “warning”. Perhaps you should take feedback from patients seriously and actually listen to their concerns rather than disregarding them completely. The multitude of complaints and 1 star reviews makes that obvious. I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life and hopefully never will again. Absolutely appalling.

My partner and I currently attempting IVF cycle and the only stress we are going through is dealing with this clinic to give us the information we need in a timely manner. Told my partner to cease medications and immediately go on another however they haven't even sent a script to get them and partner now having to call to chase up and the doctor hasn't even signed it because he has COVID, that is unfortunate but we are here in bloody Perth away from home get other doctor to sign the script and send it. Timing is key and we have to bend over backwards to get them what they want when we live in remote location but we can't get what we need when they tell us we need to have it. It's ridiculous that my partner has to chase this clinic up when it should be given to us, that's what we are paying for right? They frankly have no appreciation for the fact we had to drag our asses down to Perth from up north and can't even get reliable service when we are here.nnThe personal attention from this clinic is frankly left alot to be desired. People we talk to are pleasant enough but I would suggest systems and processes need major work. If we don't see remarked improvement we are going elsewhere for sure because this level of mediocrity unsustainable.
