Tasks of the Center:

Implementation of instructions of the President of the Republic of Belarus and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, measures of State Programs aimed at supporting motherhood and childhood, orders and decrees of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, minimum social standards in the field of health care and territorial programs of state guarantees aimed at maintaining and strengthening health and improving the quality of life of the population.Coordination of the activities of maternal and child health services, the development and implementation of measures that provide modern approaches to the prevention and medical examination of the population, early diagnosis of diseases, strengthening the health of the female and child population, increasing the efficiency and quality of specialized medical care.Conducting scientific research aimed at the development and implementation into practice of modern methods of prevention, diagnosis, treatment and clinical examination of the population, organizational measures to reduce maternal, perinatal, infant and child mortality, morbidity of women and children.Ensuring the unity of science and practice in the development and implementation of new methods of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and medical examination of the child and female population.Carrying out preventive and therapeutic and diagnostic measures to minimize complications of diseases of the perinatal period.Improving the quality of medical care for pregnant women with the development of life-threatening conditions.
Building up high-tech types of medical care.Development and use of modern medical technologies for providing medical care to pregnant women.Ensuring the quality of laboratory diagnostics at the pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical stages.Introduction of resource-saving technologies into practice using the principles of pharmacoeconomics.Organization of the process of examination and treatment of patients as soon as possible.Provision of medical care for severe lesions of the reproductive system with the use and development of assisted reproductive technologies.Monitoring of congenital anomalies (malformations) in children (fetuses) in the Republic of Belarus.Development of measures for the prevention and timely detection of congenital anomalies (malformations) in children (fetuses).
