This practice was recommended to me because of its good reputation. The organization of the practice is great. You get quick feedback when it comes to blood values ​​etc. I was with Dr. Lewalter. She is a kind and compassionate doctor. Her explanations of why we suffer from secondary sterility and how we can overcome it were also initially coherent. I also have to say: I didn't have the impression that expensive artificial insemination was necessarily offered as a solution to everything, but that the individual situation was taken into account. And now to the point why I left the practice:n- According to my calculations, inseminations were always carried out at least 1 day after ovulation. Each time I reported that I had a positive ovulation test (25) before injecting the Ovitrelle. Insemination was then about 36 hours after the ovulation. After the treatments I was able to observe closely: positive ovulation test +14, the period is coming. Calculated back to the treatment cycles, insemination 1-2 days too late (ovulation can occur at any time after a positive ovulation test and Ovitrelle does not determine what happens, but the body itself). It was all very easy to understand when an LH surge happened in my body by looking at the size of the follicles.n- once I should trigger ovulation with a follicle size of max. 15.5-16 mm. No one knows what advantage this will bring...n- ICSI at my own request after I had the feeling that we were not getting any further: After the follicle puncture with an adequate size on the ultrasound, I was diagnosed with empty follicle syndrome. And that was explained as the cause of the unfulfilled desire to have children. How the first child came about naturally remained a mystery. It took me exactly 20 minutes to find out that there isn't actually such a thing. And we had no problems adjusting the stim or suppression at the other KiWu center.n- At the ultrasound appointments there was sometimes another doctor whose name I unfortunately forgot. She always had difficulty recognizing follicles (cyst, water), somehow everything was there.nnSo I said goodbye to the practice and unfortunately I can't share any really positive experiences, apart from the organization and the fact that ICSIs are not necessarily sold. However, Ms. Lewalter seems to be too inexperienced for the large number of patients she treats.
