We had previously undergone fertility treatment at Erlangen University Hospital and unfortunately our experience there was extremely disappointing. The waiting times were unreasonably long, communication with the medical staff was poor and the quality of treatment left much to be desired. It often seemed as if the doctors were overworked and inattentive to our needs and concerns.\n\nOur experience with Mr. van Uem is in stark contrast. Mr. van Uem is a real luminary in his field. He impresses not only with his extensive knowledge and professional expertise, but also with his empathy and commitment to us. Mr. Uem can be reached at any time, regardless of the time of day. His availability and willingness to be there for his patients outside of regular office hours is remarkable.\n\nWe always felt we were in the best hands with Mr. van Uem. His precise diagnoses, understandable explanations and individually tailored treatment plans always gave us the confidence that we had made the right choice. He takes time to answer every question and addresses every concern, which has become rare in today's fast-paced medical world.\n\nIn summary, we can unreservedly recommend Mr. van Uem. His outstanding care and personal commitment far exceeded our expectations. If you are looking for a competent, reliable doctor, you should definitely contact Mr. van Uem. We are completely satisfied and grateful for the excellent care we received from him.

After the pregnancy didn't work out for us for over a year, we made an appointment at the fertility center. Appointments were always made without any problems and you got an appointment quickly. The waiting times were never longer than 20 minutes (even though it was sometimes quite full).\nThe receptionists/employees were all super friendly and helpful. They also answered questions if you were unsure about medication, etc\nKeep it up!!! You are great! :-)\nAlso Dr. van Uem was always friendly to us and we got along well with his manner. The man is a specialist in his field and focuses exclusively on fertility treatment. For some, this focused style can sometimes seem a bit harsh. He doesn't beat around the bush for long and just says what's going on pretty directly. We had no problem with that. And this way you don't waste time unnecessarily. It actually worked out quite naturally for us ^^\nWe thank you for the great support. We can recommend the fertility center with a clear conscience!

The first contacts are amazing. Extremely friendly from the receptionists to the Dr. Jan Van Uem. He is honest, committed and doesn't beat around the bush. Anyone who wants to have children is definitely in good hands here.\n\n👍🏻 Come with you 👍🏻\nIf the same fate plagues you.

I never usually write reviews but this one is a labor of love. My husband and I felt very well looked after from day one. If anything was unclear, you could contact us at any time and receive a prompt response. We also have Dr. Van Uem was a very warm, humorous and goal-oriented doctor, which is why I can't understand the bad reviews here. The treatment itself and that should be clear to everyone depends mainly on physical factors. We were aware from the start that a single attempt would not be enough. Although I also count the first attempt as a “success”, I became pregnant, but unfortunately it was in the fallopian tube, which none of us, including no doctor in the world, has any influence on. After the successful fallopian tube operation, we quickly continued with the second attempt, from which we were now able to be “discharged” positively on December 27th, 2024. All in all, we were treated for “only” 7 months before we were successful (including a 2-month break due to surgery, etc.), which I actually imagined would be longer and more nerve-wracking before the treatment. We are overjoyed and endlessly grateful, not only to Dr. van Uem but also his employees and the new assistant doctor were very nice, friendly and goal-oriented. I am more than happy to have chosen this practice and would recommend it at any time! I know how stressful the desire to have children can be, but you should never lose touch with reality and always be aware that nature and the human body cannot be 100% controlled, even by a doctor, and it will be great work until the transfer and from the transfer onwards it's just up to the organism - you have no influence on it. As I said, I was very satisfied from the first to the last day and am now planning to come back here for a second child in 1-2 years!\n\nThank you very much to each and every one of you!.

Review of IVF-Erlangen from Phine Heim
I rarely write reviews, but this one is important to me.\nWe've been under treatment with Dr. Jan van Uem since the beginning of June 2024. We didn't find his style at all like what others criticize here. He was always friendly, answered our questions, and with his humor, he personally calmed my fears. Now we've reached our goal of becoming pregnant in November 2024, and we're very happy.\nThanks again to the entire friendly team there.\nBest regards, the Weyher family.
