If you are considering Max Mohali, here are a few things you should be aware of:nn1. You may be asked to sign blank consent forms before surgery, without clear explanations about the potential risks involved.nn2. Post-surgery, expect unprofessional or dismissive behaviour from doctors, as they have already received payment and your options for care may feel limited.nn3. Simple post-operative concerns, like asking how long bleeding will last, might not only go unanswered but you may also be shouted at by the doctor.nn4. Cleanliness standards are lacking throughout the hospital.nn5. Once surgery is completed, patients are often kept in the recovery area without family or visitors being allowed to see them, even from a distance.nn6. The admission process can be slow, with delays in assigning beds.nn7. Even patients in wheelchairs receive little to no assistance during mandatory pre-admission tests.nn8. You may be required to pay upfront for tests that are supposedly included in the treatment package.nn9. Medicines provided by the hospital may be close to their expiry date (though not expired).nn10. Washrooms are frequently unclean and poorly maintained.nnThese are just some of the issues I experienced during my father's treatment. If you’re prepared to accept these conditions, then Max Mohali might be an option for you. Otherwise, you might want to consider other hospitals.nnSince doctors are the ones generating revenue for the hospital, the system tends to prioritize them over patients. You're made to feel unimportant—after all, patients are many, but doctors are few.nnI thank Max Mohali and its doctors for opening my eyes to the reality of our medical system and the attitude of some doctors..

My father was admitted to Max Super Speciality hospital Mohali. The doctor Ramesh Sen was amazing as expected and very encouraging. The 1 star review is just for the management. He was admitted to a double occupancy room which we asked for but that room was meant for singlenOccupancy and is just a sleeping room for 1 person. They instead turned into double occupancy. There was no movement possible, and even his bed couldn’t be turned up as the side table was getting stuck. Doctors themselves visited and asked to put a review stating he can’t even do some movements with walker as it cannot accomodate it. The pictures will share more light on the plight of ours. The hospital has fantastic doctor, no doubt but the management is not great. Especially some staff, they are very rude and don’t listen. Bed management is honestly a mess here.

I recently visited Max Hospital for a health checkup under the Health Shield 360 plan, and my experience was extremely disappointing.nnFirst, the PHP reception staff was very rude and lacked basic courtesy in their communication. Then, when I proceeded to the ECG section, I had to wait for an unusually long time. Patients who arrived after me were given priority, especially those with personal references, while I was left waiting. When I inquired about the delay, the staff misbehaved with me and told me that patients under this scheme had to wait. However, I noticed that several other patients with the same policy were attended to before me.nnAfter a long argument, they finally conducted my ECG. The hospital’s approach was highly unprofessional and unfair. I am extremely disappointed with their service and would like to give negative feedback.nnI am attaching photographs of the staff members who were extremely rude and failed to provide fair treatment..
