I finished my Journey in December of 2022. And it was the best experience I've had! They were there for me everything step of the way and I was never left in the dark about anything! My case manager Shannon was amazing!! Any questions I had were answered within an hour and everyone was so supportive my entire journey!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with ACRC's services and to request a refund of fees paid for services that were not delivered as promised.
I paid $35,000 in agency fees and $6,000 for a background check. Your agency matched me with a surrogate, and based on this match, I spent an additional $25,000 on medical exam fees, travel, and legal services for the surrogate. Before the embryo transfer could take place, the surrogate withdrew for personal family reasons. As a result, I lost a total of $60,000 and wasted eight months of my time.
Throughout the process, your agency's communication was consistently poor. After the surrogate withdrew, I was told that I could be matched again for free. However, when I proceeded, I was informed I had to pay again for a new surrogate. The new candidates presented were not acceptable -- including individuals with four miscarriages, two prior C-sections, and other concerning medical histories.
I requested a refund of the $35,000 agency fee and $6,000 background check fee, as your agency failed to deliver on the core service -- a qualified surrogate and successful match. You refused to refund any part of the payment and told me to resolve the issue through legal channels.
I find this behavior unacceptable and believe it reflects a lack of accountability and responsibility to their clients.

Beware of False Promises: How This Company Mismanaged and took away $31,000 of Our Hard-Earned Money and not refunding it back.
Background
We were introduced to ACRC through a recommendation from our fertility clinic coordinator from HRC Rancho Cucamonga. The proposed surrogate seemed promising despite her higher-than-ideal BMI, and before signing the retainer agreement, we communicated our concerns regarding her BMI via email to ACRC owner Shen Li and case manager Yu (Ivy) Lai. We emphasized the importance of medical clearance by October 2024 to align with our fertility doctor's availability. Both the agency owner Shen Li and the case manager, Yu (Ivy) Lai, assured us the surrogate would meet her BMI goals and be ready in time.
Based on these assurances, we proceeded and were pressured to deposit $60,000 upfront at the time of the match. Despite the significant payment, the surrogate failed to achieve medical clearance, and the process never began. However, ACRC withheld $31,000 as an agency fee and which is mentioned in the agreement that it is for the entire surrogacy journey which was supposed to cover management and oversight--neither of which were provided effectively and our journey didn't even begin and they want to keep $31000
Major Concerns and Failures:
1. Negligence in Surrogate Oversight:
Despite our documented concerns about the surrogate's BMI, ACRC failed to monitor her progress. We were forced to step in to create a weight-loss schedule--something that was clearly the agency's responsibility. The surrogate ultimately did not meet her goals or obtain medical clearance by October 2024 as promised.
2. Lack of Oversight and Communication:*
The surrogate abandoned the process after three months, So we demanded for refund but were told you can't get money back and were advised to continue with the same surrogate if she loses weight or to wait for a rematch which may take 6months. So we were given false assurances and promises again that surrogate will be ready by Nov 5 for travel for her medical clearance.
3. Mismanagement and False Promises:* We were repeatedly assured that the surrogate would be ready by early November. Instead, on November 5th, we were informed that the surrogate had used a birth control ring, messing her menstrual cycle and readiness to travel on Nov 5 2024--an oversight that reflects poor coordination and lack of experience.* The agency blamed the surrogate instead of accepting responsibility for their failures. Why an agency did wait for the last minute to reveal is this information on Nov 5? That day by seeing the repeated red flags we decided not to move forward since we cannot trust them with our limited number of embryos and with our surrogacy journey.
4.Unprofessional Conduct:* ACRC's coordinator, Erica, and case manager, Yu (Ivy) Lai, failed to handle critical tasks, forcing us to directly coordinate with our doctor's office--a responsibility that should have been theirs*
The agency withheld a significant portion of funds ($31000)while failing to deliver services as outlined in the contract.
Our Request for Accountability:
We paid $31,000 as part of an agency fee, trusting that ACRC would manage the surrogacy process professionally. Instead, we encountered negligence, false assurances, and financial exploitation. Given the clear failures in delivering on their promises, we expect a full refund of $31,000.
We have evidence--including emails,communication records, and a review of similar complaints from other clients on Yelp and the BBB--that highlights ACRC's consistent pattern of poor management and unethical practices.
If you're considering ACRC, beware of their lack of transparency, false promises, and complete disregard for their clients' emotional and financial well-being. Save yourself the heartbreak and look elsewhere. Also, kindly request HRC to remove them from their preferred list of surrogate agencies.

The owner of the business wants to banter on yelp regarding how he never returned our money, despite the surrogate from his agency walking away from the process prior to them receiving medical clearance and potentially never receiving medical clearance at the time because of a medical condition. ACRC kept the entire service fee without actually providing any surrogacy services after their surrogate walked away. Pursuant to the deposit contract, they were supposed to rematch us and promised to rematch us - but they never actually made legitimate efforts to do this and increased the cost of the surrogate by an additional $30,000 on top of it. They demanded we transfer to them $60,000 without ever even having a medically cleared surrogate or surrogate contract. This business did not provide what they advertise. This business engaged in consumer fraud with us - and the owners response should validate this to anyone shopping around. If I had been aware of contentious relation between this agency and a customer that they couldn't settle, I would never have considered engaging them. We told them we could not trust them, we wanted to take our money to a different agency, and they refused to return any funds - even though we never had a contract with any surrogate or ever had a medically cleared surrogate and never received any surrogacy services from this agency.
Again - all my reviews on google have been blocked, it's not an accurate view of the company.

BEWARE!!!!! THIS AGENCY IS A SCAM. We engaged this company as an intended parent and I would recommend looking elsewhere. They have already held us financially hostage, they have not sought to address or resolve ANY issues and are literally holding our option to have more children hostage to their financial benefit. This agency is total scum - I would not trust them, there are many other decent agencies worth working with. If I could put negative 100 stars, I would. This agency should be shut down and lose their licensing.

Had such an amazing experience with this agency, tends to every need and makes sure you're completely comfortable, covered, emotionally and physically ready for whatever journey you're going into. The entire process was very stress free and they make sure of it too. I was a surrogate and had such a pleasant experience. Shannon, my agent, was constantly checking up on me even after my delivery just made sure I was perfectly fine made me feel so important and not neglected what-so-ever. Definitely will be doing another surrogacy for this agency, can't wait to make another family happy

ACRC is a great company if you're looking to help another family achieve their dream of having a family. It's amazing how ten little fingers and ten little toes can do for someone else. The process was so easy and having my coordinator Andrea by my side every step of the way made it so much easier and comforting. The staff have so much experience.
