Timeframe: June 2024 (expect to be there 2.5-3 Weeks)nnCustomer Service: At the start you will be assigned an assistance or they call them "coordinators" however, they were very disorganized and misinformed me a couple of times. My coordinator prior to my procedure advised me that I would be eligible for a promotional that they had with 30%off - I didn't get it- in fact this was in writing, and it was not honored. I was told it was a misunderstanding (okay no big deal, but for some people that misunderstanding could be significant). They could work on customer service acumen. Document your entire process. make sure your communication is via email/WhatsAppnnProcedure: Egg Retrieval - the entire process took 2.5 weeks with daily visits for blood monitoring and verification of the eggs follicles.nnCost: Approx. 8KUSD (not including medications and lab work) maybe more depending on what you are getting done.nnDoctors: my doctor was stellar! very detailed and easy to communicate with. Mine was bilingual. Id say 40% of the staff is properly bilingual. My doctor was more "humane" than my coordinators, she actually was more warm in following up with how I was doing and challenges my body was having... I was under the impression based on a comment the doctor made, my coordinator is suppose to check in with me as a "humane" approach...nnBilling: billing statements are not available to the paying customer. you will need to keep track of your spending. It would be great if they had a patient portal to access your own information and make payments.nnContract (concerns & risk you should be aware): 1. in the event of a natural disaster your eggs will be lost and your money non-refundable (CDMX does have occasional earthquakes); 2. you are not able to inherit or donate your own eggs/embryos, but the clinic is able to donate it to someone else ( if you have more than 1 viable, you will not know because they profit from "donation" for folks who are unable to have their own- depending on their Ethical and good faith on this- NOT accusing but keep that in mind);3. by the time the contract is provided to you for reading you have already paid 50-60%and you are kind of forced to participate because your hard money has already been invested- READ YOUR CONTRACT; 4. You are not allowed a copy of the contract, they don't provide a reason either. 5. your storage is one year included in the pricing; 6. the contract is good for 5 years, this means they expect you to make a decision about using your retrieval, otherwise there is a re-engagement but the storage is held somewhere else (it doesn't say where and the coordinators could not advise and they didn't not follow up with me); 7. your package may come with massage or yoga or prenatal- USE IT! I didn't my assigned coordinator didn't tell me or reminded me of these services I am already paying for; 8. Contract is ONLY IN SPANISH. Take your time to review the contract.nnwould I recommend? depends on how desperate you are for this dream. if you are like me, this is a the best to take the risk and hope for the best. I still have many concerns for sure. Could this firm do better aside from looking cute? yes..
