St ives Ikeja review
St ives is a great hospital. Meeting Nurse Divine when I was going to deliver was one of the best things that happened to me. But I have a concern about the paediatrician at the Ikeja branch, she's always doesn't take concerns serious and always quick to dismiss concerns that might need close monitoring, more like in a haste to discharge you so the next person can come in l, and I believe that can really be worked on.
Worst Clinic for IVF
Honestly, I feel these people do not know what they are doing. Even the main process itself, I will call them quacks. Then no empathy, no professionalism. This is Akowonjo branch. If the CEO is reading this, those ivf staff are ruining your reputation is all I have to say. The head nurse/doctor at that Akowonjo branch is the worst

I will still recommend people because St Ives Services is top notch, first of all I will like to say a very big thank you to Nurse Divine Ugwumba for the exceptional care she rendered to me, she did absolutely well, the way she held my hands, encouraged me that everything would be fine and cared for me from start to finish was truly amazing, God bless you so much, I was very worried, but the way she calmed me down and kept checking up on me until I was completely okay, under she is very detailed, pays attention to all my concerns and always stood beside me throughout the process, she takes her time to explain everything I needed to know and understand, she’s honestly too good at what she does, deep down, I felt encouraged knowing that there are still good, professional nurses with genuinely kind hearts. A very big Thanks to Dr Obodo and the entire team of St Ives.

Poor Service & Much Regrets
Experience with this fertility clinic was deeply disappointing, particularly regarding the standard of patient care and aftercare. While I fully understand that IVF is never guaranteed to result in a pregnancy, patients should still expect compassionate, professional, and transparent care throughout the process. This clinic prime goal as I consider is collecting your money, thereafter quality of ongoing and aftercare is minimal/ zero. The assigned nurse chidinma was regrettably a joke. A negative pregnancy result was given verbally in a setting where the conversation felt cold and defensive, particularly as concerns were raised about quality. No explanation of HCG levels, and no attempt to arrange for me to speak with a doctor or other medical professional afterwards. The overall lack of transparency throughout the process also raised concerns regarding the clinic's quality standards, inevitably affected my confidence in the clinic's overall credibility. Would NOT recommend.

Review of St Ives Healthcare from JiBzee JaY
We came here recommended from a friend. The hospital was ok & the doctor was helpful but sadly this st Ives at ikeja was not the right fit for us as the wait time was outrageous. We wait averagely 3-4hours to see the doctor excluding other things. This does not fit in with our plans & days & felt more like been in a public general hospital, because of this we chose to go to another private hospital where wait times was lower & service were generally better & more personalized. It will be nice if the hospital have another doctor for their fertility unit b/c a single doctor seeing hundreds of patients daily & appointment time the same for all patients is not a good fit & disregards people with work & businesses who might have other things to do.

Review of St Ives Healthcare from Jason
My experience at this hospital was very disappointing. From the moment you walk in, there’s a noticeable lack of warmth. The atmosphere feels tense, and the staff come across as unfriendly.\n\nAt the front desk, the receptionists barely acknowledge patients and often appear irritated. It leaves you wondering whether this is due to staffing challenges or a lack of professionalism. Unfortunately, this attitude doesn’t seem isolated, it reflects across much of the team. From the nurses at the vital station, who don’t offer basic greetings, to openly chatting among themselves while patients wait, it’s hard not to feel overlooked.\n\nOverall, it feels like patients are treated as numbers rather than individuals in need of care and attention. There’s a clear lack of empathy, which is concerning in a healthcare setting.\n\nI expected much better and left feeling genuinely disappointed. While the facility may look presentable from the outside, the service experience falls far below what one would hope for.

I have lot to say about st ives .To make it brief please am pleading with who her life is very important to should never go to st ives. They only care about money but not people live. They're not just competent on what they said they're doing.

Review of St Ives Healthcare from cynthia duru
I initially changed my review after receiving a follow-up call, which I genuinely appreciated. However, I feel compelled to share my honest experience regarding the overall care I received at St. Ives, which fell significantly below expectations.\n\nI came to the clinic for a complete fertility evaluation—a deeply personal and sensitive journey—and expected a certain standard of professionalism and care, especially as a fully self-funded patient. While I was given a list of necessary tests, some of which had to be done externally and out-of-pocket (which I accepted), what disappointed me most was the lack of follow-up and continuity of care after these tests were completed. There was little to no effort to engage, guide, or support me through the next steps, which left me feeling disregarded and alone in the process.\n\nWhat’s even more concerning is the dismissive and unprofessional attitude of some of the front desk staff. Receptionists are often a patient’s first point of contact, and their indifference or rudeness only adds to the emotional toll patients are already carrying. This is not just a service; these are people’s lives, emotions, and futures. Compassion and attentiveness should never be optional in fertility care.\n\nI’ve experienced care from other hospitals and can confidently say that what I received here did not reflect true patient-centered care. Until St. Ives takes meaningful steps to improve how they treat and support their patients, especially in such a vulnerable field as fertility, they will not have my trust or recommendation.\n\nYou simply have to do better.

I Mrs oluwasimisola Jolaoluwa Ogunnaike, came to ikoyi hospital during Nov 2024 from Uk , I see all the ikoyi branch like a scam because I was told the medication for my surrogate is for three week and suddenly they did transfer less than the Agree date,no details of the donor before doing everything sound like a game to me …egg got was 10 then later Said 6 then 3 egg transfer during the embryo transfer and I ask what happen to the other egg no reasonable point ,I was told they transfer 3 egg successfully during the embryo transfer and today make it 14 days telling me that is negative again ..The result sent was in biro not type during the embryo transfer process but yet to see today result ,the processing sound fast and unprofessional like something is hidden between the ikoyi team management and the surrogate company …in summary like a scam …really disappointed because I got to your company base on a good result a friend got from Ikeja and I taught ikoyi we be good ,how can I freeze sperm in Ikeja and they did embryo transfer in ikoyi that one alone can cause problem for the Pregnancy to be negative…only God knows if the embryo was transfer

Thinking of IVF, this is the worst clinic to be. Avoid risking of life, waste of time and money. Coordinators and consultants are not experienced. They used my wife as experiment. Only God saved her life.
